Traffic education in practice

What is the driving force behind the traffic education program of sCOOL2walk? How does it work, how can it be implemented, and what elements and phases make it so effective? The handbook provides insights into the scientific foundation of our program, practical applications, and how schools, parents, and municipalities can work together to create safer traffic environments for children.

Why is sCOOL2walk so important?

This foundation is thus of great importance for the later development of more sport-specific skills. In addition, children must learn to anticipate and develop flexible capacity in order to establish full motor control, which is necessary in the unpredictable environment of sports, among other things.

sCOOL2walk is an accessible way of easy, daily movement to develop the necessary motor skills for this motor foundation. And In order to set the right, healthy behaviour patterns from an early age.

Children's physical activity levels decrease significantly, resulting in a loss of motor skills. This threatens their overall health and long-term well-being.

In order to take up a sport, a child must first possess a broad motor foundation consisting of adequately developed movement skills (such as walking, running and jumping), object skills (such as throwing, catching, hitting and kicking a ball), and balance skills.
